About Us

About Me

Hi, I'm Jeremy Raynolds — a digital marketing consultant, blogger, and full-time web enthusiast based in the United States.

I’ve spent the past 14 years in the trenches of online business, helping entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small business owners cut through the noise and build websites and digital strategies that actually work.

This blog is the product of over a decade of testing, experimenting, failing, and succeeding online. Everything I publish here comes from real hands-on experience — not recycled takes from someone who Googled the topic the day before writing about it.

How It All Started

Back in 2010, I built my first website using a bare-bones HTML editor and a $5/month hosting plan I found after hours of research. The result was, frankly, terrible. But something clicked. I became obsessed with how websites worked, why some ranked on Google and others didn't, and what made certain designs convert visitors into customers while others drove them away.

I started freelancing within two years, initially doing basic on-page SEO for local businesses. Word spread. My client base grew from local shops to SaaS companies, e-commerce brands, and professional services firms. Along the way, I launched several of my own websites — some flopped spectacularly, others became reliable income sources. Every failure taught me something I couldn't have learned from a course.

Today, I run this blog alongside my consulting practice. The blog serves one main purpose: to give you the honest, practical guidance I wish I'd had when I was starting out.

My Areas of Expertise

Website Building & Design

I've personally tested more than 30 website builders, from household names like Wix and Squarespace to specialized platforms like uKit, which I recommend regularly to small business clients for its outstanding value.

Search Engine Optimization

SEO is the backbone of everything I do for clients. I've helped websites grow from zero to tens of thousands of monthly organic visitors using white-hat strategies and solid keyword fundamentals.

Content Strategy

Good content doesn't happen by accident. I build data-driven content strategies that combine keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience understanding to produce articles that rank and convert.

Digital Marketing Tools

I stay current with the best tools available — from email marketing platforms to form builders, online survey tools, and marketing automation software. My goal is to match the right tool to the right use case.

My Philosophy: Honest Reviews, Real Recommendations

The internet is full of affiliate-stuffed “best of” lists that recommend whatever pays the highest commission. That’s not what this blog is about. Yes, some links here earn me a small commission if you choose to sign up for a product — but I only recommend tools I’ve personally tested and would genuinely suggest to a friend or client.

If a product is overpriced, I’ll say so. If a popular tool has a better, cheaper alternative, I’ll highlight it. My long-term reputation depends on giving you advice that actually serves your interests — not mine.

Beyond the Blog

When I’m not writing or consulting, I enjoy hiking, cooking, and reading everything from marketing case studies to history. I believe the best ideas come from outside your own industry, and I try to bring that cross-disciplinary thinking into every piece of content I create.

If you have a question, want to work together, or just want to say hello, I’d love to hear from you.
